Provincetown Bound

We are taking a day trip to Provincetown. The Boston Harbor Cruises fast ferry is dog-friendly, so the Yorkie Claire sleeps in the booth with us. They have fast free WiFi (good) and ubiquitous CNN (bad). We are traveling light – two Kindles, a water bottle, iPhones, and the Yorkie

I’ve never been to Provincetown, the artsy enclave located at the very tip of the Cape Cod fishhook. It’s where the Pilgrims landed first, before their more famous landfall in Plymouth. A couple of my ancestors were on board, traveling without WiFi. The sea sparkles. The fast ferry rolls a bit from side to side on its smooth glide on a catamaran hull. We make landfall in about 20 minutes.
