The view from our porch this morning at the Tau Game Lodge
We’re about to set off into the Madikwe Game Reserve at the northern border of South Africa. We checked in yesterday for three nights at the Tau Game Lodge, located inside the reserve. Yesterday evening’s safari with Moirah resulted in sightings of four of the Big 5 – elephants, lions, Cape buffalo, and rhino. This morning, maybe a leopard.
Our group is gathering for coffee and small muffins, so I’ll need to post this pronto and pack up for the Land Rover. We’ll be using the blankets, I wager, till the sun warms up the park.
